So I hope everyone had a well rested weekend. My buddy This Wheel's on Fire just passed on a fun little tag to do seven random things about me! Giddy-up, are you ready, here I go.
1. I like watching people knead dough. Ok this is really weird but every time I watch people knead dough - whether on a cooking channel, at a pizza parlor, or at someone's apartment, I just feel a moment of relaxation. Isn't that really weird? It's very calming to me.
2. I'll hope on board This Wheel's on Fire's train when I say that I love to curse. I love the f$#@ word (maybe its because of living in NYC - yes, I'll blame that) but I will drop F-bombs throughout my day without batting an eye.

3. I recently stopped eating meat again. I was a vegetarian for eight years and I went back to eating meat a year ago but I went to the zoo recently and all my animal related anxiety kicked back in and since then I've pretty much avoided meat.
4. I'm a really good listener. I love to listen rather than speak in a lot of circumstances. I think people are really fascinating and they love to speak about themselves so I just sit back and listen.
5. I don't like nuts in things. Ever since I can remember, I just have preferred nuts separate from anything else. I think by this point it is kind of just all mental but I've never had a Snickers before nor do I like brownies or cookies with nuts. I must be really missing out.

6. I've probably said this before but I think you can tell a lot about a person from the way they hug you. I am all about big hugs and a kiss or two (for the Frenchies) when I see people. I also have a habit of touching someone when I am talking to them. Even if I don't know someone, I'll touch their arm. Living in NYC you are constantly passing so many people and not really in contact with any of them so I feel like my time talking to friends or strangers is really important to me and having physical touch with them is important as well.

7. When I get older, I want a farm! Sometimes I get so overwhelmed with the concrete jungle I live in. When I get a house outside of the city it must be a farm because I want to have a couple of dogs, a hen, and grow all of my own produce.
I tag everyone!!!
The headline above is from 'I, Me, Mine' by The Beatles

this was so cute to read, haha it's cute about your aversion to nuts with things. i like keeping my foods separate on my plate at dinner, but I do like nuts in things. I wouldnt say you're missing out though :)
xx
Ah...a few beautiful things about you.
Never expected #2...did expect #4 from you. Haha.
I like people who are #6. They're really something special and stand out from the rest. There are so many different types of people in the world, it's unreal! I know that in the future we will all be categorised, but at the moment not a scientist in this world who studies this 'subject' because it's kinda overlooked. But to me this is a serious matter! Anyhow......
You'll miss the big city when you go living in a farm. Mark my words. You're longing for a farm right now, but NYC is just a huuuge magnet!!
I agree Brooke. Gorgeous tag, D! I really love...

Too cool.
The kneading dough thing, I can totally relate.
That is the most "accurate" picture of Woody that I have ever seen, how come I've never seen it before?
I love this post. I'm taking this idea and putting my own spin on it, you'll see. xo d
My parents are farmers! It runs in the family, like since always. And wow! eight years! I'd love to heard your favorite recipe! I'd like to learn how to cook using less meat. But it's hard. I have no idea what would be good and with a student budget I wouldn't want to waste any money for experiments.

Hey there. This was really cool to read. I enjoyed all of these. Thanks for sharing these. Also great photos as usual. Have a fantastic week. Cheers!
Yeaaaa! Big, Big Hug!! I'm totally with you on this thought, dear!
A farm?? Ohh So niceee! I support you. ;)
Have a great week.
I have noticed ever since I've been going to school in DC that I really want a veggie garden in the future, my nature side is coming out more now that I'm in a large city
you are so funny...love learning more about you!
I love your list, darling, so funny :))
wish I could stop eating meat...
have a lovely week, xoxo
Haha, I love that you both keep your cursing off your blogs, yet mine is very openly there.
And yes, get your farm when you're older. I can personally say that living in a small town as a young person is terribly boring.
I loved all of this! You're an interesting lady, xox.
I definitely agree about wanting a farm.
I am such a city girl, but I grew up on a farm and there is honestly no better place in the summer or to enjoy a quiet snowfall in the winter.
Plus, I love the idea of giving a few lucky animals to just chill out and enjoy their lives -a few pigs, chickens, geese, and cows.
which ties in with the vegetarianism - i have been a veggie on and off since the age of 12 and just recently read 'eating animals' by jonathan safran foer(my favorite author).
definitely got convicted and am slowly phasing out all animal products.
for good.
love&light, honey.
Hey sweets! I loved reading every one of these :) They really speak to how warm you are!
And is Mad Men not the best thing ever created? Okay maybe a bit extreme, but it's up there! xoxo
this is so true about hugs! i will also admit i'm a terrible hugger. like a robot, who is awkward.
