I have had an enlightening time in Colorado. It is good to know your grassroots to know where you are going. I feel like I am at a huge cross roads in my life and it was important that I went home. Its good to feel both the confusion and grateful feelings that happen to someone when they are growing up and I am trying to embrace that. I have been trying to distress myself because I realize my life in NYC is entwined in such stress and worry. Here, I realize that all that doesn't matter. It really doesn't. I just need to focus on the positive and push myself as hard as possible and everything will fall into place. I am going back to my life in NYC without a job because my last day of work was before I left but I know if I apply myself and open myself up everything will happen in my favor.

Walking home late at night along the dead streets in Brooklyn, I find myself singing aloud to songs on my iPhone. I only have about nine albums on my iPhone downloaded so I listen to the same albums over and over again. Tidal by Fiona Apple is one of the albums downloaded that I love to sing while walking.
