Do I ever cross your mind?

It is really strange because although I have not met a mojority of you that I talk to through this blog, you come up in my thoughts throughout my day. Does this happen to you? I consider everyone I go back and forth with on this blog my friend.

For example, the other day my coworker was talking to me about True Blood and I immediately thought of Jayne (because Jayne loves that show and has convinced me to give it another try).

Or when I see anything that has to do with The Who, I think of This Wheels on Fire.

When Farrah Fawcett passed away I wondered what Keith thought.

Or how I am so confused about how to buy make up and wished that Elizabeth Marie was here from Unbeweavable to help me!

Or when I want to talk to someone about life, I think, 'Where is wise Diane when you need her?'

Or when I saw that purple Marni dress in the window the other day, I thought, 'That is so Janetteria.'

The list could go on and on.

The point is, I love you all.

XO,

D-

And the less I seek my source for some definitive the closer I am to fine.

Tonight I went to another Phonograph show at the Living Room in the Lower East Side. It was awesome.

Happy Dappy Birthday - Debbie Harry

I LOVE HER! My favorite NYC moment happened a little over a year ago. I was talking to someone who was with Debbie Harry and she reached out and touched my oversized lion necklace and said, "I like that. It is very powerful." I couldn't even utter, "Thank you." I just stood there dumb founded.

She turns 64 today!

If I could keep the wind in my sails, keep a hold of the tiger by the tail, a half a ham sandwich in my lunch pail, that'd be alright.

Currently, I am featured on the fanspace page of the website Stolen Thunder! Click here to see it. They have some really great stuff. Please check out their site. My favorite piece is their purple leather Babuska woven bracelet (see photo below). Also if you put the code DOODER in, then you have 15% off of your purchase! How fabulous is that?

This could be any little town there must be mountains crumbling somewhere. If I could take you there I'd hold you 'til we vanish into thin air.

Hey Lovelies.
I have thought long and hard about coloring my hair and I am still undecided. My boyfriend keeps reminding me how expensive it will be to do the upkeep because my roots will grow in like crazy. Thank you for all of your comments about it!

My weekend was great! I played music with Fiona on Friday and then Friday night we went to Zebulon and danced to an afro-beat band! It was so much fun. Saturday morning Dave came home from playing music out of town and we had dinner with his mom who was in town for the night. I hope you are all doing well.

XO,
Deana
